How much does it cost to send a fax?
The first page costs US$0.60, each additional page US$0.12. A different per-page price may apply for some destination countries – the total amount is always fixed and shown to you before you pay. There is no subscription and no hidden costs.
Do I need an account or sign-up?
No. You upload your PDF, enter the fax number and pay – done. Optionally you can enter an email address and we’ll send the transmission report there.
How do I know my fax arrived?
After payment you can watch the sending status live. As soon as the fax is delivered (or has failed), you get a transmission report with recipient, time, page count and delivery status – by email or as a download.
I don’t have a PDF – can I still send a fax?
Yes, that’s our speciality: pick a free template (e.g. cancellation letter, withdrawal or power of attorney), fill it in right in your browser, sign digitally – and send it out as a fax in the same flow.
Which countries can I fax to?
Almost every country worldwide. Just enter the number in international format, e.g. +44 … for the UK, +49 … for Germany or +1 … for the USA.
What happens to my document?
Your PDF is stored on our server in Germany only until it has been sent and is deleted afterwards. Only the key facts of the job (recipient number, page count, status) are kept for your transmission report.
Is a fax suitable as proof?
In many everyday cases a fax counts as text form and the transmission report documents the transfer. Whether a specific legal form is required in your case is best checked beforehand – this is not legal advice.
How long does delivery take?
Usually one to two minutes, sometimes a bit longer depending on the receiving machine. You can follow the status live; the report arrives automatically once the fax is through.
How many pages can I send – and which files?
PDF files up to roughly 9 MB and 25 pages. Photos or scans can be turned into a PDF in the web app first.
Can I receive faxes too?
No, Tamgara only sends. To receive faxes you need a service with its own fax number.
