Why “Tamgara”?
An ancient signing mark. Rethought.
The tamga was the signing and seal mark of the Eurasian steppe peoples. Every clan had its own unmistakable sign – branded, carved in stone, struck on coins and set under contracts. Passed down for generations, the tamga stood for origin, ownership and a given word: a signature long before ID cards existed.
In Kyrgyz, a signature is still called “kol tamga” (кол тамга) – literally “hand sign”. That is exactly what Tamgara is: your personal mark, set under any document with a swipe of your finger.
