Which contracts can I terminate early because of a move?
Mainly location-bound services: internet and energy when the provider can’t serve your new address, and often gym memberships when there is no reasonable nearby location. Whether a special right applies depends on the contract and the circumstances.
Is moving alone enough, or must the provider be unable to serve me?
For internet and energy it depends on whether the provider can keep supplying you at the new place. If it can (possibly on changed terms), the contract often continues. For gyms, a move alone is usually not enough – reasonableness is the deciding factor.
What notice period applies?
Often a short period around the moving date (roughly one month for internet/energy). Terminate early and verifiably. In the template you can enter the moving date or a specific desired date.
Do I have to enclose proof of the move?
Not necessarily up front, but many providers ask for it. The template notes that you will provide proof (e.g. a registration certificate) on request, which avoids follow-up questions and delays.
